The Story
The opal at the center carries pink and green across its face every time the finger turns, the play-of-color drifting through a milk-white body that catches new light at every angle of the hand. Gold rises around it in sculpted curves—a wave moving through the shoulders that lifts the dome of the stone high enough for the color to carry.
The opal weighs ⅓ of a carat. Round diamonds flank it in tight clusters at each shoulder, every stone colorless and near-flawless—a grade more often seen on a center diamond than on accents, and one that lets the stones throw light without competing with the color at the center. The opal and all the diamonds are natural and earth-mined, the band worked in 14-karat yellow gold. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it's gone, it's gone forever.
An opal is its own object on the finger—the color shifts and reforms with the light, no two flashes ever the same.
