The Story
Swiss blue saturates the trillion at the center of this ring with the kind of clarity that holds the eye before any other element registers. Two panels of mother of pearl rise along the shoulders on either side of the gem, their iridescence shifting from pearl-white to soft pink and pale green as the hand turns. A diagonal ribbon of yellow gold crosses the upper face, channel-set with a graduated row of diamonds that ignites with every angle of light. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. The trillion measures 1.45 carats and reads vivid blue across the entire crown, set on three prongs at the apex of a chevron-shaped face. The mother of pearl inlay flanks the topaz in matched curves, hand-fitted into bezels worked in 10k yellow gold—the inlay and the gem framed as a single composition. The diagonal diamond bar carries a quarter carat total weight, every stone near-colorless, the row tight enough to read as architecture rather than accent.
