The Story
From the final flourish of the Art Deco era comes this dazzling palladium and diamond pendant—a hand-fabricated wearable work of art, more than eight decades old and altogether sublime in its preserved condition.
A field of round brilliant cut diamonds spreads corner to corner across the kite-shaped face, every stone bead-set amid milgrain detail within a raised, polished frame. The mounting rises in box-like depth, openwork along its sides, and hangs from a matching 18-inch cable chain. Crafted circa the 1940s, when wartime restriction reserved platinum for the military and turned fine jewelers to palladium, the pendant remains a genuine relic of that brief window in time. The diamonds grade G in color and VVS2 in clarity—near colorless and nearly flawless, natural and earth-mined. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind.
