The Story
A butterfly caught mid-flight—one wing lifted, one wing settled, as though it has just landed on the hand or is about to leave it again. Fine traceries of rose gold cross each wing, dividing the pavé into the patterned shapes a real butterfly carries. The body between the wings is sculpted in three dimensions, with a small crown rising at the head.
Across both wings, 0.32 carats of natural round brilliant near-colorless diamonds set tight to one another, edge to edge, from the body of the butterfly out to the wing tips. The rose gold holds a warm undertone against the brightness of the diamonds, and the two play together across the surface of each wing. The whole face of the ring wakes at the smallest movement of the hand.
A slender stem lifts the butterfly above the band, with the wings reaching forward of the finger as the hand turns. A glance down catches them held still mid-flight—exactly where the eye paused.
