The Story
This exquisite vintage Postwar 1940s Retro Era ring showcases the timeless elegance of 1940s craftsmanship. Featuring 0.25 carats of two natural round brilliant cut diamonds set within buttercups in an intricate floral motif, the piece combines 14kt rose and white gold in a harmonious two-tone design.
From the buoyant exuberance of the Postwar Era comes this lyrical floral spray—a wearable work of art hand-fabricated in 14k white and rose gold, roughly eighty years old and altogether romantic in its blooming asymmetry.
Two round brilliant cut diamonds are mounted at different heights along the vertical face of the ring, each held within a sculpted white gold flower whose petal-shaped prongs cradle the stone like a buttercup. A splayed fan of fluted rose gold opens skyward beside the higher flower. A slender white gold leaf with raised veining curves down through the center. Rose gold scrollwork frames the composition and flows into the band on either side, the whole crafted in 14k white and rose gold. All of the diamonds grade G in color—near colorless, ethically-sourced natural and earth-mined. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it's gone, it's gone forever.
The diamonds dazzle, one above the other, with warm rose gold and cool white gold visible every angle. A beautiful memento of the postwar period kept on through season after season, remarkable each time you wear it.
