Move, and the clover flashes leaf by leaf. This diamond clover pendant is more diamond than gold—four leaves drawn as a close, unbroken run of round brilliants, with five larger stones gathered where they meet. It is enchanting, and it is beautifully made.
This diamond clover pendant grades F color and VVS2 clarity across all 0.55 carats: colorless, with no tint of its own to put into what it returns, and nearly flawless, with nothing inside to get in the way. A round brilliant is cut to do two things at once, and these do both—white brilliance straight back at you, and the rest broken into fire right across the spectrum. The larger five stand a little forward of the leaves, meeting the light at a different angle from the run around them, and the bail is set with its own line of stones so the sparkle carries up above the clover. Diamond is April’s birthstone, and the stones here are all natural and earth-mined. This magnificent diamond clover pendant is 18k white gold throughout, polished smooth on the reverse and open behind every stone, and it is suspended from an Italian Spiga wheat chain, eighteen inches of tightly braided gold.
