Every diamond here grades D color and VVS1 clarity—colorless and nearly flawless. A larger round brilliant cut diamond holds the crossing, and from there the arms run in milgrained openwork panels, triangles alternating point-up and point-down, each one framing a diamond of its own, out to rounded ends. The diamonds are all natural and earth-mined. Diamond is April’s birthstone, and it takes its name from the Greek word adamas, meaning unconquerable. This diamond cross pendant is suspended from an 18-inch Italian Spiga wheat chain—four strands of twisted links braided for strength with the supple feel of silk.
