The Story
Two saturated colors meet on this ruby and sapphire ring—an oval ruby at the center, princess cut sapphires flanking it on both sides. Round brilliant cut diamonds fill the open loops curving away from them, and their brilliance arrives somewhere new every time your hand moves. Three of the four precious gemstones are here at once.
The oval ruby at the center runs 0.88 carats and grades AAAAA, the top of the colored-stone grading scale, and on a ruby that grade turns on hue, saturation and tone above everything else. It returns an even, deep red, and the princess cut sapphires beside it carry a saturated blue of their own, both of them richer for the warm metal around them. Every diamond on this ruby and sapphire ring is D color and VVS1 clarity—colorless and nearly flawless, and all of them are excellent cut. Every stone here is natural and earth-mined.
