Light runs down one half of this cubic zirconia pendant necklace and stops. The asymmetry is deliberate, and so is the second surprise: what looks at a glance like one shape is a pair. The design is inventive, and it is beautifully made.
Two open squares, each set on point with rounded corners, interlock at an offset, so their openings overlap and leave a third squarish window at the center, the same outline again in miniature. Eleven round brilliant cut cubic zirconia are bead-set in one continuous line along two adjacent sides of the lower square. Every remaining surface of this cubic zirconia pendant necklace is high-polished sterling silver, front and back, with the 925 stamp struck into the reverse. At the top, the chain goes straight through the upper square, so this cubic zirconia pendant necklace rides directly on its 18-inch cable chain.
