Twelve princess cut diamonds fill each shoulder of this diamond engagement ring in three rows of four, invisibly set so that they meet edge to edge with no metal showing between them, each panel framed by a polished border and let into a broad, smooth 14k white gold band. Between the two panels a round brilliant cut diamond of 1.03 carats rises clear of both, open on every side. At 2 ⅓ carats altogether, this is a diamond engagement ring whose light covers the whole top of the mounting. Color grades G across the twenty-four princess cuts and I at the center—near colorless throughout, with the sides at VS1 in clarity, near flawless—and every stone is natural and earth-mined.
