A deep, rich violet fills the whole face of this oval amethyst pendant, right out to the rim. A checkerboard grid cut across the top scatters it into dozens of separate points, and the arrangement shifts with every turn of your shoulders.
This oval amethyst pendant carries a AAAA color grade, high on the grading scale, and on amethyst it is hue, saturation and tone that earn it—clarity and cutting are weighed after. The purple runs at one strength through the stone, held in four prongs and a slim, straight bail of 14k yellow gold. All 0.65 carats of it sit in the one stone. The amethyst is natural and earth-mined.
