The Story
Cold blue, bright as shallow water running over white sand. This sky blue topaz pendant necklace carries seven carats of it in one deeply faceted oval, throwing icy flashes with every step. It wears cool against warm skin on the hottest afternoon.
The topaz sits at the center of the drop, framed by a halo of round cubic zirconia raised in individual collets that scallop the outer edge. The mounting is open behind the topaz, showing the whole depth of the cut from the back. Above the drop, a tapered plaque set with cubic zirconia rises into a horizontal collar, from which two arms sweep up and outward, each lined with cubic zirconia graduating larger toward the polished ends. That construction is what gives this sky blue topaz pendant necklace its V at the collarbone. Built in sterling silver throughout, this sky blue topaz pendant necklace hangs from a 20-inch loop link chain of twisted wire. The topaz is natural and earth-mined. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
Topaz is November’s birthstone, and you will reach for this one on a Tuesday morning with no more reason than the color. The topaz is as strong under kitchen light as it is in full sun, and the pendant keeps swinging for as long as you keep moving.
