The Story
Light moves across the face in slow, separate flashes. The owl-eyes face is Art Deco at its most recognizable: two diamonds in hexagonal frames with milgrain edges, an hourglass of triangular blue sapphires holding them apart, and an open gallery underneath. The geometry is a hundred years old.
Both diamonds grade colorless and near-flawless, the quality the original maker chose so the eyes would read as eyes—clear and lit. The sapphires hold a vivid blue between them, the only color in a piece otherwise white-on-white—every stone natural and earth-mined, set in eighteen-karat white gold.
