The Story
Points of brilliance above and below, the pattern reshuffling at every step. This diamond drop pendant carries three rounded triangles in a line, each one linked to the next, the top and the bottom pavé to the rim and the middle one polished smooth. It is a striking thing to wear.
Every stone here grades F color and VVS2 clarity—colorless and nearly flawless, so the interior runs clean and the cut has pure material to work with. The top and bottom triangles are pavé-set with round brilliant cut diamonds, packed close so there is more diamond than gold on either one. Each of those two is domed, and the curve is what this diamond drop pendant is built on: it tips every stone to a different angle. So some of them are flashing brilliance while others split the light into fire, and the two trade places as you move. The triangle between them is 18k white gold polished to a mirror, and it holds a single unbroken highlight from corner to corner. The diamonds are all natural and earth-mined, and diamond is April’s birthstone. This magnificent diamond drop pendant is suspended from an 18-inch Italian Spiga wheat chain—four strands of twisted links braided for strength with the supple feel of silk.
