The Story
Cool blue, bright as shallow water over white sand. This pear London Blue topaz ring carries a full carat of it—turquoise where the facets catch the light, darker teal down the middle, saturated straight through the bulk of the stone. Vivid and luminous in equal measure.
The pear-cut topaz sits point upward, ringed by a close-set halo of round cubic zirconia that repeats its taper in miniature and sets the entire face of the ring alight. From there the mounting divides in two: a pavé-set ribbon of cubic zirconia and a polished ribbon of sterling silver cross over one another on each side, then draw back together into a slim, smooth band. Underneath, the metal is cut away in openwork, which is why a pear London Blue topaz ring built at this scale sits open and airy from the side. Graded AAAA overall—the top grade for color, clarity, and cut combined—the topaz in this pear London Blue topaz ring is natural and earth-mined. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
Topaz is November’s birthstone, and this one is meant to be lived in rather than saved. The intensity holds from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, which is exactly how often you will want it on. Turn your hand and the twisted shoulders keep flashing long after the pear has settled.
