The Story
One bright point moves across the stone in this cubic zirconia pendant, shifting to a new angle with every turn of the shoulders. Warm rose holds the middle of it, and cooler metal closes around that. The pendant measures a third of an inch across.
The one cubic zirconia is set at the heart of a rose-toned disc engraved with a starburst. The motif is the sun, one of the oldest in ornament, and it has carried the same meanings for thousands of years: light, warmth, and vitality. The frame closing around it is covered in fine raised beading inside a milgrained rim, so the metal takes a scatter of highlights of its own. The openwork is cut right through the sides and back of the sterling silver mounting. This cubic zirconia pendant is suspended from an 18-inch rope chain, its links twisted in a tight spiral down the full length of it. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind.
