The Story
On these sapphire and diamond stud earrings, a pear sapphire of deep, rich blue brightens where the light lands as you glance over your shoulder. Around it, a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds throws fire from a few stones, then many, as you move, and you look striking in them. The sapphires total 1.50 carats, the diamonds 0.30 carats.
Both sapphires in these sapphire and diamond stud earrings are AAAA, one of the highest grades on the scale, for rich, even saturation carried right through each one. Every diamond around them is F color and VVS2 clarity—colorless and nearly flawless—and very good in cut. Each stud sits snug against your earlobe. The pear shape concentrates light toward the tip of each sapphire, where it brightens most. The halo widens each face past the sapphire’s own outline, so these sapphire and diamond stud earrings show a magnificent teardrop of blue edged in sparkle, a standout among our stud earrings. That single row of diamonds follows the curve in polished 14k white gold, finished with a post and push back. Every stone here is natural and earth-mined. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
As you look up from a conversation, the diamonds encircling each teardrop catch the light in a new spot, and the sapphire brightens to a magnificent deep blue beside your face. Sapphire is September’s birthstone, long linked to wisdom, fierce loyalty and royal nobility. Framed in diamonds and 14k white gold, those pear shapes look remarkable on you.
