The Story
From the bold, gold-drenched 1940s comes this rose gold and ruby ring—a wearable work of art, over eighty years old and beautifully preserved, two rows of red still vivid on the hand.
The rubies press edge to edge across a raised face and lift clear of the band, round brilliants set so close that no gold interrupts the stripe of red, with beaded clusters and scrolled openwork flanking either side in 18k rose gold. All eight rubies grade AAAAA overall—the top grade for ruby across color, clarity, and cut, natural and earth-mined. Ornamented gold of this kind, intact and unbroken, is a genuine survival of its period. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it's gone, it's gone forever.
Ruby red down the length of the finger—worn daily now as it surely was when it was new, and no dimmer for the decades since.
