The Story
From the glamour of the 1940s comes this bold, sculptural ruby and diamond ring—a wearable work of art dating back more than seventy-five years, and as striking on the hand today as it was when it was made.
The head reads as two flared, bell-mouthed forms opening opposite ways—old European cut diamonds massed into the upward one, red rubies into the downward one. The diamonds sit in bright 14k white gold, the rubies and the scrolled body in warm 14k rose gold, with more of both stones set through the scrollwork. The diamonds grade F in color and VVS2 in clarity—colorless and nearly flawless—and the rubies grade AAAAA overall, the top tier for ruby across color, clarity, and cut.
