The Story
Half the heart runs red. This ruby and diamond heart pendant sets two temperatures against each other, warm and cool split straight down the middle, and the whole design is built on that asymmetry. The red lands first, and the gold and the diamond answer a beat behind it.
Seven round rubies run close along one flank of the heart, from the cleft around the outer curve to the point below, each a bright raspberry hue, high in saturation and medium in tone. Opposite them a polished ribbon of 14k yellow gold curls over the lobe, and beneath it a slim panel of white tapers to the same point, set with one round brilliant cut diamond. At ⅓ carat total weight this ruby and diamond heart pendant is graded throughout: the rubies AAA—a high overall grade across color, clarity, and cut—and the diamond G, near colorless, all stones natural and earth-mined.
