A marquise aquamarine carries a cool, saturated sea blue right out to the points. This aquamarine and diamond pendant holds it inside a single circle of round brilliant cut diamonds, and they break into brilliance as you move. All of it is 18k white gold, and the aquamarine is a full half carat.
The aquamarine grades AAAAA, the top of the colored-stone scale and roughly the finest one percent of the material. At that level the blue has to be pure, strongly saturated, transparent right through, and even from one end of the gem to the other.
