A close halo frames the demantoid, its round brilliant diamonds set edge to edge. Below it, scrolled openwork cuts through the mounting walls, so this demantoid garnet and diamond ring shows as much detail in profile as from the front, and the same 18k white gold runs down both shoulders beneath a graduating row of diamonds, finishing smooth and polished at the back.
