The Story
From the archaeological revival decades of the Victorian era comes this opal pendant necklace—a wearable work of art in warm 14k yellow gold, over a century old, and holding a stone that drifts from green to blue to lavender with every turn at the neckline.
A hand carved fleur-de-lis crowns the pendant, its three lobes coiling outward to scrolled tips and crossed at the waist by a narrow band, with a small natural seed pearl seated at the center where they meet. Below it swings the pear cabochon opal, ringed by gold wire twisted, applied, and soldered down along the whole teardrop outline. Romantic old world elegance par excellence. The opal grades AAAAA overall—the top grade for color, clarity, and cut combined—natural and earth-mined, and hangs from a 16-inch S-link chain.
