Separate flashes come off the diamonds of this pink sapphire and diamond pendant, and they shift with every step you take. A pear cut sapphire holds the center, point up between a V of diamonds and a curved bar below. All of it is 18k white gold, and the pink sits deep and saturated against that metal.
The sapphire is AAAAA, the top of the colored stone grading scale, and that grade is settled on hue, saturation and tone long before anything else. Here that means a pink that carries evenly from the point of the pear through its widest curve, in a stone transparent right through. The diamonds are F color and VVS2 clarity—colorless and nearly flawless. The sapphire is natural and earth-mined, as is every diamond around it.
