A pavé teardrop hanging in clear air, and diamonds on every surface around it. This diamond teardrop pendant is set right through—up the bail, along the open frame, and over the domed face of the teardrop itself—with very little gold showing anywhere. The setting work throughout is exceptional.
Every diamond in this diamond teardrop pendant grades D color and VVS2 clarity—colorless and nearly flawless. The teardrop is domed, its face pavé-set with round brilliants that turn away from one another, so that flashes of light come from every angle as you move. Behind, the 18k white gold is openwork, cut in a leaf pattern that shows the backs of the stones. A single line of diamonds traces the frame and climbs the bail. Nothing fills the space inside it, so the teardrop sits against skin rather than gold. The diamonds are all natural and earth-mined, and diamond is April’s birthstone. This magnificent diamond teardrop pendant is suspended from an 18-inch Italian Spiga wheat chain, braided into a supple rope. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind.
