The Story
Verdant, saturated green flashes somewhere new with every turn of your head. These emerald stud earrings carry 1.75 carats of emeralds in 18k yellow gold, three to each ear—an emerald cut, a pear and an oval. All six are Colombian.
Every stone here grades AAAAA, the top of the grading scale, and an emerald earns that grade on color—hue, saturation and tone—alongside clarity and cut. On these six it means a pure green carried the whole way through each stone, the transparency to let you see right into them, and a match that holds from one ear to the other. Each of these emerald stud earrings carries all three cuts: the emerald cut flashes broad and slow, and the pear and the oval are brilliant cut and break the light into quicker, finer points. Fine emerald is scarcer than diamond at comparable size, and these emerald stud earrings carry six pieces of it. Natural, earth-mined stones throughout. Each and every piece at Jewelry Depot is one-of-a-kind. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
Emerald is May’s birthstone, and renewal is the oldest meaning the stone carries. That color reaches well across a room, long before anyone can pick out the three cuts. Wear them on a Tuesday, and you will have all six of those stones beside your face all day.
