At the heart of this filigree amethyst ring, the stone is AAAAA, the very top of the grading scale, which judges color, clarity and cut together, and its rich purple runs full and even from corner to corner. Toward the back, the gold becomes a smooth, polished band that sits comfortably against your skin. Bright points of light scatter across the face of the radiant, and which of them flash keeps changing as your hand moves. A gleaming white gold collar surrounds the stone in this filigree amethyst ring, and against that shining edge it looks all the more luxurious every time you wear it. Filigree in 14k white gold opens along both shoulders in fans and scrolls, and a fine beaded border outlines the octagonal top, true to the Art Deco era.
