Amethyst rarely arrives this strong. This amethyst and diamond ring is built on a vivid grape purple, raspberry flashes moving through the crown as the hand tilts, and the intensity holds in daylight as readily as it does under a lamp. Rich, saturated, and altogether magnificent.
The amethyst sits at the center of the mounting, cut as a round brilliant and graded AAAAA overall—the top grade for color, clarity, and cut combined. Each shoulder climbs into a domed cap, and over each one runs a channel of baguette diamonds, bordered on both sides by arcs of brilliant-cut diamonds bead-set into the metal. Half a carat of diamond weight rides in those two caps, so this amethyst and diamond ring carries its sparkle all the way out to the band. The diamonds grade G in color and VVS2 in clarity—near colorless and nearly flawless.
