The Story
Each garnet throws sparks of fire every time you turn your head. These vintage garnet dangle earrings put a sumptuous deep red over glossy black onyx beads in warm 14k yellow gold. The two garnets come from Mozambique and weigh 0.78 carats between them.
The garnets grade AAAAA, the top of the grading scale, which weighs color, clarity and cut together; both are richly saturated throughout. With its checkerboard of squares, every garnet scatters brilliance in many separate points. Pointed gold leaves cap each onyx bead, and its lustrous black makes the garnet above it look redder still. The length of these garnet dangle earrings frames your face, while the polished gold feels smooth and warm against your skin. Garnet is January’s birthstone and stands for friendship and trust.
